Exhibition: "Blaues Haus und Gelber Klang – Wassily Kandinsky und Alexej Jawlensky in Murnau“

"Winterlandschaft bei Füssen" A. Jawlensky, Kunstsalon Franke-Schenk

On the occasion of  the exhibition „Blaues Haus und Gelber Klang – Wassily Kandinsky und Alexej Jawlensky in Murnau“ in the Schloßmuseum Murnau, Kunstsalon Franke-Schenk is delighted to loan the work „Winterlandscape near Fuessen“ (from 1905) by A. Jawlensky to the museum.

The exhibition will be on view at Schloßmuseum Murnau from 24 July to 2 November 2014.

Exhibition: „Max Liebermann – the Hedgerow Gardens“

Max Liebermann Rose garden in Wansee

As a result of the original restored hedgerow gardens in Max Liebermann’s garden at lake Wannsee, the Liebermann-society has arranged the exceptional exhibition „Max Liebermann – The Hedgerow Gardens“

Kunstsalon Franke-Schenk has contributed to this exhibition by loaning their pastel, „Rose garden in Wannsee“ by Max Liebermann, to the Liebermann-society.

The exhibition will be running at the Liebermann-villa at Wannsee, Berlin, from 11 May until 31 August 2014.

The exhibition is extended until 6 October 2014.

Jawlensky at Wiesbaden Museum

On the occasion of Alexej v. Jawlensky’s 150th birthday, the Wiesbaden Museum is hosting the large exhibition „The Jawlensky Horizon. Alexej von Jawlensky in the Refelction of his artistic Encounters 1900-1914“.

Kunstsalon Franke-Schenk is delighted to loan the work „Still Life with Napkin“ (1906) to the museum.

The exhibition will be on view at Wiesbaden from 14 February to 1 June 2014.
